On this #WorldAidsDay, a day deeply significant to the gay community, we’re sharing a male duet that holds a special place in our hearts.
“Alec&Maurice”
This film explores queer guilt—the mix of fear, hesitation, and tenderness that accompanies coming into one’s truth. Inspired by E. M. Forster’s novel “Maurice,” two men embody contrasting journeys: one fully aware of his sexuality, the other questioning his nature, navigating desire, societal expectations, and love.
Set in
@studiowaynemcgregor ’s quiet, dystopian space, their fluid duet shifts between unison and divergence. Light, shadow, and a sparse, atmospheric score become a third partner, amplifying distance, closeness, and the fragile tension of intimacy.
