Then join us for 🚨𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬: 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧🚨 ⚠️Young composers from @djm_aarhus challenge the authority of measurement! 🚫🕰️ Time has long been disciplined into units—counted, infinitely divided, obsessively optimized. Long before the mechanical clock, Western music participated in this ordering, quantifying sound and silence into systems of proportion that continue to shape how we hear, compose, and value music today. In the present, this logic extends far beyond sound: digital infrastructures sort, measure, and rank life itself, producing worlds where existence is increasingly defined by what can be calculated—and sold. In this concert, the composers engage critically and recursively with these histories and their consequences. The works presented here unsettle the authority of measure. They ask what kinds of temporalities emerge when the grid falters—when rhythm slips, when duration stretches beyond expectation, when simultaneity refuses alignment. 🚨𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬: 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧🚨 invites the audience into these generative fissures, where sound opens other ways of being together in time—less governed by extraction and efficiency, more attuned to relation, presence, and what must be negotiated, felt, and shared. This concert is the conclusion of a one week workshop, guided by composer and performer Marcela Lucatelli. The pieces will be performed by the composers and Lucatelli. I dag er præcis to uger til, at vi åbner dørene til vores SOUND Mission afslutningsarrangement i samarbejde med GRASP 💥 Ud over engagerede paneldebatter og en miniworkshop, kan du glæde dig til at opleve to kunstneriske indslag: ’Rodfæstet i sange’ og ’Hvad hørte du i dit stille sind?’. ’Rodfæstet i sange’ bruger fællessangen som forandringsmetode og stiller spørgsmålet: Kan vi genforvilde vores forhold til jorden gennem nye grønne fællessange? Bag projektet står sangskriverne Magma Rea og Agnes Ea fra Ekkosystem i et samarbejde med NGO’en Københavns Fødevarefællesskab - KBHFF - Copenhagen Food Coop I “Hvad hørte du I dit stille sind?” inviteres du til at undersøge, hvad du tror, der sker ude i verden, og hvordan vi kan snakke sammen i vores højspændte politiske virkelighed.
