Bev’s an outback oracle, dispensing diesel-fuelled wisdom from his 18-wheeler pulpit. He’s clocked a million miles and has a story for everyone – some tall, some true, all a window into a life lived on the road. But something’s changing in Bev’s world and it’s not just the gears.
Part comedy, part meditation on a changing Australia, this solo show is the latest genre-defying work from Jonny Hawkins (@auntyjonny ) and Nell Ranney (@nellranney ).
Strap in for a journey that’s equal parts laughter and reflection, with a few detours into the surreal. And please, keep an eye out for roos.
