Soft Structure 2 - Saturday 21st March - aims to provide an intimate, deep-listening experience for dance-adjacent and dancefloor music, offering a counterpoint to the scale and energy of traditional club environments.
The night will unfold as a gradual arc—beginning with ambient-leaning, bass-heavy selections and progressing toward more rhythm-driven, dance-oriented bass and techno, accompanied by atmospheric audio-visual elements.
The program will feature a mix of live electronic performances and DJ sets emphasising texture, spatial sound, and immersion.

Soft Structure 01 – an evening of ambient electronic music with a pulse. Featuring DJs Grids, Steve and Dull Reality.
On April 3rd at High Note, Northcote at 7pm, we’re hosting the first in a series of events exploring ambient electronic music with a focus on rhythm and texture. For this edition, Grids, Steve, and Dull Reality will each bring their own interpretation—blending ambient characteristics with percussive elements, unique structures, and detailed sound design.
There are no strict genre boundaries, we’re interested in how different artists approach atmosphere and movement in their own way.
