This is not a moment, it's a movement...
Our first show (committee meeting?) back in March was 🔥🔥🔥. We packed the room, and our performers delivered nothing short of pure misandrist delight!
Join us for our second gathering THIS THURSDAY! We'll have comedians, musicians, and some new (hilarious) agenda items to discuss.
All are welcome. Don't miss this!

TW/CW: stories of grief and loss, s*icide ideations, hospitalization
I debuted my storytelling piece, “Son of a Grief” for the Asian American Arts Chicago @aaartschicago at the @lookingglasstheatre on 5.2.2026 to honor AAPI Heritage Month. In this piece, I share my relationship with my younger brother Andy in his final months, as he was battling kidney failure, and when I was dealing with my own mental health battles. I talk about the journey since his passing and what grief has taught me.
Note: The video was recorded a few minutes after I was already speaking. My apologies.
Thank you Lookingglass Theatre Company, Mia Park, Asian American Arts Chicago for inviting me to this space and for accommodating me. Thank you to my friends who showed up for me, and special thanks to Mary Hauser for the video recording. Thank you to Tae, Amanda, and Charlie for getting us all set up. What a wonderful event celebrating the creativity and imagination of our greater AAPI community.
I hope I made you proud, Andy. Miss you, and love you!
