Starting in 2008 one of the co-founders: @cbmusic -- is someone Ive seen play with @suenalo & @spamallstars (fantastic trombone player!) over the years. Two bands I love and two bands that make me proud to be part of the Miami music scene. The Latin Funk scene wouldn't have become what it did without musicians like him. He took that talent to the next level by investing his time & furthering his education in order to help create #guitarsoverguns.

Honored to have collaborated with the one & only #Sevin ✨️ such a wicked & underrated producer. He's certainly a quality over quantity kind of creative. The whole LP is fire, taking you on a journey from start to finish.
I wrote changes while at a shell gas station off Florin & South Watt Rd in Sacramento over a year ago.
I was with a dear friend. They were pumping gas. The words flowed out of no where. Like the teachings of 'The Artists Way' by Julia Cameron say....creativity is truly spiritual. We artists are just channels. I knew, but didnt truly know, just how serious the changes I was about to experience would be. The tune feels a bit chaotic. Once I heard it, it resonated so much with how I felt at the time, having lost my mum, among many other precious things & experiences within a matter of months. Pure chaos. Emotional, situational & physical in a rough way. I revisited those lyrics that I had written & knew this was the production to apply them to.
Growth has certainly pursued. Im still in the process. On that wild ride 💫

Dan has been reviewing & writing as @penandbass for ages now. He is a mainstay, avid lover of the sound. He has attended, listened & supported jungle and drum and bass events & music in some way, shape or form for years. The love he has for the music, for sharing, acknowledging and educating the masses is one I often wonder we've lost within the scene. But with people like him, I dont really fear so much. As an artist who jumped into this music because of how much it moved me, I get where his spirit comes from, and it is so very much appreciated! It was an absolute pleasure meeting you when I played in Bournemouth a few years ago & I do hope to see you again next time Im in England!
