Thank you to the best people for making this the best trip. It’s surprisingly difficult to steal quokkas. But don’t worry, I’ve got a few in my carry-on.
1. My forever-fight to make non-Scandis stop using the Ø to sound cool continues.
2. Did the Sydney Opera House.
3. Liquorice Ice Cream from Fluffy Torpedo in Melbourne.
4. A Penrith photo shoot.
5. I don’t remember where I ate this, but it could have been in heaven itself?
6. I tried my first Lamington and I don’t hate it.
7. Did I mention I did the Sydney Opera House?
8. LIQUORICE BREAD! Like Banana Bread but instead of banana, it’s LIQUORICE!
9. I did my first escape room!!! With @chloepetts and Yve and @thelouwall and I was very brave.
10. Who knew HC Andersen had time to go to Australia and open an ice cream shop and still wank 10 times a day?
11. If you look at the reflection in my sunglasses, you’ll see all my friends.
12. Oh and I announced UK dates this week. Last week? When is today? Where am I?
MELBOURNE. Two weeks in. Food is good, people are good, audiences are good, shows are good. I think maybe Australia is just good? This is a show I can’t wait to tour. All over the place.
Sofie Hagen’s show “I Think Some of This is My Fault” has been reviewed 5 stars in The Age.
Expect sharp, deadpan comedy that is smart, self-aware and quietly biting.
Catch her show in Melbourne at The Greek until 19 April.
🎟️ Tickets at link in bio.
Most embarrassing podcast moment from me. Sorry to a bunch of actors and nationalities. Thanks to @kim.blythe.comedy for trying her best to guess the impossible. Full episode is on YouTube!
🇩🇰Jeg har brevstemt! (It’s the Danish National Election today, so I’ll do this in Danish and then summarise in English below.)
(Siger man ‘taget coke’? Sniffet coke? Smagt coke? Gjort coke? Suget coke?)
ENGLISH: I voted for socialism. I have hope.
