#SisterhoodInPractice: In honor of International Women’s Day, we are thrilled to launch „Sisterhood in Practice,“ a special online exhibition running on our platform from 8 March to 8 April. Featuring the work of sixteen incredible artists from across the globe, this digital circuit uses the universal language of photography to foster a more inclusive conversation within our community.

Agate Tūna is a Latvian-born visual artist working at the intersection of photography, spirituality, and personal history. Tuna’s work reflects on how women connected to unseen forces were often met with suspicion, reframed as witches or mediums. Through analogue and experimental photography, she revisits these histories not to confirm supernatural claims, but to examine how belief, authority, and social norms shape what is accepted as knowledge. Sisterhood becomes both method and framework, exploring how care and belief move between acceptance, skepticism, and silenced truths.
Sofie Flinth is a Copenhagen-based visual artist working primarily with photography. Her project is rooted in sisterhood and the shared experience of living under the gaze of others. By placing herself in dialogue with her grandmother, she reveals how expectations surrounding beauty, desirability, and self-presentation are not isolated pressures but inherited conditions passed between generations. Through staged photographic scenes created in her grandmother’s home, Flinth explores both the strength and absurdity of performing femininity.
