To know Sofia is to love Sofia. As I sit here and reflect on our time together, I realize that people like you only come once in a lifetime. You are full of love and spirit, and I wholeheartedly believe God brought you to California to empower and shape you so that when you go back to Brazil, you can show others the love God has shown you and bring people closer to Him.
Although my heart is broken and I will miss you SO much, I know God has a bigger and better plan for your life in this season. Brazil is so incredibly lucky to have you. I’ve spent almost every day with you for the past 4 months, and somehow it still doesn’t feel like enough time.

2 years of treatment felt unknown, but deep down I new, God was IN CONTROL.
From stepping into the unknown, to getting married in the middle of the craziness, to now having a NEW KIDNEY, God was in full control.
God literally took the weight off me, and literally put me back together.
In the middle of the storm God gave me JOY.
