Who is Sofia Monti?
“In my first video episode, I share my story of how I became a professional kiteboarder. Unlike many athletes who grew up by the sea, I come from the bustling city of Milan, Italy—a place far from waves and wind. Looking back, I can hardly believe the incredible turn my life has taken. Just a few years ago, I never imagined this path would be mine, but here I am, deeply grateful for the opportunities and experiences that have brought me to where I am at today.
Over the past year, I’ve poured my heart and soul into chasing the wind and pushing my limits in strapless freestyle kiteboarding. This journey has been anything but easy—it’s been filled with challenges, highs and lows—but every moment has been worth it. Hard work, as I’ve learned, truly does pay off.
While my ultimate goals are still ahead, I’m proud of how far I’ve come, both in and out the water. I’m committed to pushing myself further, to becoming the best version of me. To everyone who has supported me, believed in me, and been part of this adventure: thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
