Have you heard of Envision Festival? What most people don’t know is that it was birthed from my wedding. When I first moved to a tiny town of 400 people in Costa Rica, I felt like the lone wolf, hungry for community, hungry for connection. I was inspired every time I presented at transformational festivals where people gather to dance, express their truth, and remember what it feels like to be fully alive. So when I proposed to my partner, we celebrated with a 3-day wedding festival. Out of that celebration, a friend turned to us and said: “You should start a festival.” And so Envision was born. Birthed on our land in 2011 at @danyasa_yoga_retreat in the heart of Dominical. What started small has now grown to host over 10,000 people a year, bringing a wave of like-minded community and new energy to this corner of Costa Rica. Envision was created as a platform, not only to gather and connect with people from around the world, but also create an inspired platform to support seekers in connecting to their dreams and visions and recognizing they have the power to manifest and dance their dreams into being in a high frequency collective of likeminded seekers. We are forever grateful that we took the leap to birth it into being. And after three beautiful years of stewarding Envision, we chose to step away in 2013, to pour our energy into expanding Danyasa Eco-Retreat and birthing Temple Body Arts School. Because what Envision taught me is this: the epidemic of loneliness can only be healed when we come together. I meditate and do breathwork Nothing has done what dancing does. It brings me to a high I don’t experience anywhere else. The Temple body holds all the codes you need to find your pleasure We are designed for pleasure and yet we forget that we have access to it at any given moment in time Your mind can get busy because your body is full Full of everything you have not yet allowed to move. The priestess does not sit with her pain and analyse it. She moves and dances with it. Because the body already knows how to transform what the mind cannot hold. We all felt the fire of the Beltane portal We danced to shake off what needed to go All that was in the way of saying YES to what we truly desire And the consensus was the divine feminine is feeling her power and she is ready to take on the global stage I ran a poll and almost 50% of women in that room said they are ready for their next level.
