26 years ago my mum died from pancreatic cancer at the age of 56.
It took 5 weeks from diagnosis to her untimely death.
Time softens the blow for those left behind, but also burries the memories.
Appreciate your loved ones whilst they're here.

"England's green and pleasant land" (William Blake and the hymn Jerusalem)
I keep thinking about who owns the land and how/why though.
70% of England is owned by 1% of the population, and that started years ago as (you guessed it) land theft.
There used to be "common land" that people shared.
That seems a fairer way to live to me....
Great food speaks for itself… but hearing it from our customers makes it even more special ❤️

The Real World War – Sofia Cox (12/3/26)
Beneath all the subterfuge, arguing, clever marketing, rhetoric, spoon-fed beliefs and noise a very simple truth is unfolding. It could be argued that without the pressure and impending doom of this eleventh hour Armageddon unfolding in real time, this diamond would never have formed…
Instead of explaining it to you, I’m going to pose 3 questions; the answers to which will gently lead you to your own personal epiphany:
1) Why is it not a human right – given that we don’t have any control over whether we’re born – to be able to live ANYWHERE on Earth, collect water, build a shelter and grow food, without paying someone for that supposed privilege?
2) Why is it not ‘human nature’ to automatically and irrevocably help each other to feel safe, valued and reach our potential?
3) What culturally embedded and unquestionably perpetuated customs and beliefs have disconnected you from your autonomy, and made you trust in others to decide what’s in your best interests, and how can you stop them if they aren’t doing that?
I’m going to leave you now to think about your answers and ask you to add more questions in the comments that can help us to climb out from under the rubble we have been buried under for centuries.
There’s one thing I am certain of, that I will share: the future will be co-created, decentralized, constantly evolving and more dynamic and exciting than you can currently comprehend.
This is the real war. Everything else is just a distraction, like small children fighting in the mud.
Time to grow up!
