Trust me, donāt take any of this for granted. Ive been sitting in meditation trying to find the words to integrate all of this and I still canāt fully articulate it. But what I do know is that this week reminded me why Iām here. Why i chose to come back and start again. Sometimes I say Miami is one of the hardest place to live yoga. But what Iāve been learning is that yoga chooses you. I feel it
There was a time this weekend I was scared to share my style. Scared things would change. Scared the way I express this practice might feel too radical or too polarizing. But this path keeps teaching me freedom. Freedom in expression, to serve, to continue pursuing the highest version of us. And in some definition, thatās what I consider enlightenment to be.
This ENTIRE week I felt honored to be in spaces that felt like enlightenment. The latin root of it means to turn the light on and I see it EVERYWHERE. In every conversation, every story, in every person I interact with.
And all of it is connected through the same deeper understanding in knowing that we are all collective consciousness. Remembering what happens when we surrender to something greater than ourselves and
@the.realfood.mama said it in the panel this week for SHE THE LIGHT. And thatās what yoga makes you feel (Ishvara in yogic concepts). And itās a reminder what makes everything feel sacred: love, kindness, DEEP presnce, service karma, listening, supporting, creating spaces. Yoga always points us back to that. The root of yoga comes from the sanskrit word yuj to unite, to integrate, to yoke together.
And I keep coming back to something
@cristinaisabelramirez said, We are the same and we are never alone. Because at the deepest level we are united by one consciousness experiencing life through many stories and experiences. And itās choosing to see the world, friendly or unfriendly. Knowing that everything little thing has a purpose something meaningful to the human experience. And when you choose to see life through love and light, those vibrations ripple far beyond what you can see.
Yoga is love. And when you see it that way, everything becomes yoga. Yoga citta vrtti nirodhah š¤š¤
