In an unexpected change of plans, I’ll be performing a solo set tonight at @oberstuebchenregen in the lovely city of Regen—not to be mistaken for Regensburg! If you’re unable to join us in the Bavarian forest tonight, you can catch my next solo performance in Leipzig on September 20th during the @seanaps.festival . 21h30 — Pátio SOFIA BORGES / ADA RAVE Sofia Borges é uma percussionista, compositora e improvisadora portuguesa com base em Berlim, formada no Conservatório Nacional de Lisboa e na Hot Clube de Portugal, onde posteriormente completou estudos de composição na ESML e um mestrado em Composição Multimédia em Hamburgo. Tem atuado em festivais como o Jazzfest Berlin, CTM Festival, WOMAD e Jazz no Parque. O New York Times escreveu sobre ela: “her drumming with mallets on glass was often the most engaging activity, visually and aurally.” Ada Rave é uma saxofonista argentina radicada em Amesterdão, reconhecida como improvisadora de grande sensibilidade e energia. Looking very much forward to perform with this new Trio MOLE, w/ @sofia.borges.music , @ali_beierbach ! Sunday 26th of April at @tonhallehannover ! MOLE blurs the boundaries between free improvisation and composition. On its wanderings, it shamelessly poaches from the garden of genres, like a hyperactive mole in its prime. In doing so, the trio manages the feat of striking a balance between dissonant clusters, harmonious melodies, groove and the dissolution of that very groove. See you there!

✨ Last weekend at festival MaerzMusik, I had the pleasure of joining a wonderful group of percussionists to perform works by @angelesrojasaguilo and Pauline Oliveros. Playing in percussion ensembles was an important part of my formative years as a percussionist, and it remains something I cherish deeply ❤️ For Pauline Oliveros’ piece, we performed as a group of five percussionists with my wonderful colleagues @hiwatashinozomi , @evi.feelippou , @tzuyin._.perc and @madalena.moreira.rato 🔔 For Ángeles Rojas piece, we were joined by Ángeles herself and @matthiasengler108 . The event, I AM ALL EARS, focuses on listening as an immersive experience and took place in a very special setting: the rotating stage at @berlinerfestspiele , where the floor itself was in motion during the performances 🌍 Many thanks to @voytek_blehash and @kamilametwaly for shaping such a beautiful event as part of the MaerzMusik 2026 grand finale ✨ 📸1-3 Camille Blake
