Things I find beautiful when setting the table in the garden…
1 ~ Garden Design: If you love hosting outside, then the setting is quite important. For me, I love a bit of wildness in certain areas ~ whilst also an area of elegant appearance with the use of decorative frames, obelisks to grow roses and climbing flowers.
This feels more intimate. ✨
2 ~ Garden Furniture: Shop pre-loved if you’re looking for vintage inspired pieces… or are on a budget ~ mine were £20 for the full set, I love these ornate bistro chairs!
3 ~ Seasonal Arrangements: Garden grown is even better 🌸
4 ~ Candlelight: 🕯️ From tapers to different sized vessels, and scented goodness.
5 ~ Table Linens: A choice of patterns and prints or a simple white linen, you can’t go wrong with this.
6 ~ Seasonal Touches: Adding flowers to the plate or name cards completely changes the tone. 🌱
7 ~ Colourful Dishes: Seasonal fruit and veggies that bring colour to the table.

The evening sunshine glow & a new shade from @imogenpopelondon for my antique reading lamp. This is the Classic embroidered cotton shade in Daisy - a beautiful warm pale cream. The embroidery allows the slightest shafts of light through, giving off a balanced, ambient glow!
Next i’ll be ordering the loose pleat and fine stripe in cocoa. If you’re looking for shades for wall lights, table lamps etc these are so beautifully made.
