This apartment is in a mansion block with an ancient communal heating system which only allowed for three radiators throughout the entire three bedroom apartment, leaving the master absolutely freezing without heating.
We installed a new boiler which allowed us to entirely remove the apartment from the communal heating and hot water system. Swipe to see where we hid it. And also the very shabby chic Before.

It is weirdly tricky to make pink look grown up. So many fabrics are available in a plethora of blue and green shades, but pink…. Not so much.
We did find some beauties from @romo_fabrics and @gpjbaker though. And we grounded the design by using some bronze accents.

This table was part of a five leaf extendible dining table that we picked up at auction for less than £150. In actual fact it wasn’t even at the auction - it didn’t sell so we got it for a bargain price after the sale had finished. We used all the other leaves in various places around the project - shelving, benches etc.
And the radiator came off a local building site where they were selling off all the old cast iron rads.
Sometimes there is nothing better than repurposing old originals.
