A sommelier pours, you taste without seeing the label, you trust. Sofar is the same idea, but for music. You buy the ticket, we pick the artists, you walk in and discover three you’ve never heard of.
This time, working-class folk to open, then a beatboxer who turned the room into a drum kit, then a brand new folk duo whose harmonies just landed. By the break, strangers were high-fiving each other across the room.
Sofar Berlin runs every week. The next room is booked. Tickets are up for grabs.

Julian Brown warned us up for his first Sofar with beautiful tunes. His worst date was from when he was 12 when he embarrassingly dropped his cash all over the floor on his first date. Cute.
Nathan Trent smashed his first EVER Berlin show. His worst dating story involved a never ending 4 minutes of complete silence 😅
His mum even came all the way from Austria to see him play 🫶🏻

40 strangers in Axel’s living room 🤯
Music listening in the foreground, not the background. The vibe @sofarsounds was founded on, and the one we’re bringing back. Streaming put music everywhere and turned most of it into background noise.
A living room, phones down, strangers on the floor. That’s still the best answer we’ve found.
A virtuoso cellist and a guitarist held the room. Birds through the window during Vincent’s set. Veigh Malow had everyone singing by the end.
