Sandy B, South African kwaito pioneer, links up with Belgian producer on Afrosynth. Two artists with a shared conviction that music is inherently political, channelling that urgency into seven tracks of kwaito-rooted but forward thinking electronic music! Music with something to say.

Together they’ve channelled this into their work, creating tracks that resonate with defiance, hope and a demand for change - a rallying cry for justice, unity and transformation. Sexo y Fantasia are back with their third record, and easily their darkest. Where previous outings luxuriated in sun-drenched haze, Trabajando El Flex thrives in the murk - a mutant wave manifesto that channels Coil’s spirit through pulsing basslines and ghostly vocals. New Beat, EBM, Dub, Italo, and New Wave collapse into each other here, creating something hypnotic and beautifully unclean. It’s music for darkrooms, both literal and metaphorical. Here they talk us through the album track by track...

soFa elsewhere and Nicolas Boochie return as Sexo y Fantasia. Their third and darkest album yet, Trabajando El Flex, is coming soon on Pinkman. Pre-order now via link in bio 💋

Channeling the spirit of a major influence which is Coil, this album could have been called “Music to Play in the Dark(rooms).” It’s a lethal fusion where New Beat, EBM, Dub, Italo, and New Wave lock into a singular, hypnotic atmosphere. Their world is a wild ride from Bear-Santa Claus Fantasms to Burning Churches and Amphetamine rooms, reflected in both their playful - not-to-be-taken-seriously - lyrics and a genre-shattering sound.

Their debut was a a lost reel; their second, a dream, Trabajando El Flex is the raw, slow-burning, and beautifully unclean night that consumes both. It’s a flawless fit for the after-hours ruin of the Pinkman universe.

November 1 Locomotion is back at Doka with soFa elsewhere & DJ Tracksuit💫 But what is Locomotion? Locomotion is about the dancers, dancing & the dancefloor. Dance music for the people by DJ’s who know the art of DJing and can tell a story with music. DJ Tracksuit & soFa met on the streets in Berlin 5 years ago and have been sharing music ever since. 2 years ago they played together for the first (and only) time at Space Safari in Belgium. It was a magical journey through the world of dance music and we’ve been waiting for a moment to make that synergy shine again. Their music will shine bright on Doka’s sound system! PS: Our previous Doka event in June was sold out so don’t wait to buy your ticket. Support culture by buying your ticket early <3 Tickets via bit.ly/lmsofa or the link in bio

Last year I removed my solo records from Spotify and with the labels, we're now proceeding to most of my other projects soon to be removed from this hellhole. I kindly invite other artists to do so and if you pay for this "service" as a user, pls consider moving. This "service" does nothing else as actively killing the craft that was once called music. It's easy to transfer playlists to other more sustainable platforms such as Subvert, Tidal or Bandcamp. Lets stop feeding the monsters that kill us. #EverythingIsPolitical. saying it over and over again: Artists get robbed ($0.003/stream, and not even for everyone!) AI generated content will soon replace music even more Your streams fund military tech (yes, Spotify just invested 700 million in war AI and companies who are actively involved in genocide) The system is rigged (majors & fake artist profiles win, you lose) Time to ditch Spotify. Support Bandcamp, Tidal, or even better, support artists directly! #BoycottSpotify #SupportRealArtists #everythingispolitical #musicispolitical ✊🎵

It's been half a year now that I'm curating playlists on ROVR along with many other great folks. The lineup is full of passionate music lovers, it's all about selections of tunes which are hardly put forward elsewhere. Since this has been my mission for almost 3 decades I am super happy to have joined this excellent roster. As usual I try to showcase the lesser known, the underrated and the outsiders of many genres old and new.  If you're part of those who have no time to search for music, here is another great alternative to the shitheads called spotify. It's free and full tracklists and archives are available!

With @sofa_elsewhere , we are very happy to announce the release of Dream Baby Dream, out on @hellyeahrecordings ! Thanks to Marco Gallerani for your trust, Maud Dallemagne @uchimuchi for your beautiful visual, Matteo Pozzi for the design, and Andreas Kauffelt for the mastering. Link in bio to find out more We have a few vinyl copies in Brussels, tell us if you want one! @leyatouch & @sofa_elsewhere aka Dream Baby Dream combine their left-of-centre musical perspectives on an otherworldly new self-titled album that out now on @hellyeahrecordings The duo's beguiling mix of occult synths and treated vocals ride dubbed-out mid-tempo rhythms on a retro-futurist record that blends cold wave, cosmic disco, dub and trance.

Dream Baby Dream describes themselves as "two children who refused to grow up" and now they offer a glimpse into their very own fantastic land of dreams. This journey into diverse flavours spontaneously started after a cosy dinner and after just three sessions resulted in the album presented here. Playful yet sometimes gloomy, this music echoes life, both imaginary and real - the highs, the lows, the dark moments and the joy, trance-inducted love zones, daydreams and everything in between. It is a coherent hole but one filled with surprising turns, moments of deja vu and plenty of outsider dance floor delights.

Leya Touch is a rising voice and live act on the Brussels alternative scene. Together with soFa, a veteran DJ and producer who released on many forward-thinking labels worldwide, they provide signature vocals and synths that challenge typical genre categorisations.

This is an exultant album of new musical rituals, tiny soundscapes, dehumanised words and combinations of the past, present and future that never fail to excite and intrigue.
