It was a pleasure to join Pol Taburet (@yves_ciroc ) for a studio visit and a preview of his upcoming solo exhibition, ‘Paranoia as a Method’, curated by Pier Paolo Pancotto (@pierpaolopancotto ) at Villa Medici (@villa_medici ). Opening on 15 May and on view through 15 July, the exhibition marks a significant new chapter in Taburet’s practice, and we are delighted to be part of the project by hosting the artist at Via Gregoriana 40. Populated by hybrid figures suspended between the human and the animal, Taburet’s works evoke transitional states between life and death. His instinctive approach allows forms and meanings to emerge organically throughout the creative process, giving rise to a body of work imbued with a profound spiritual dimension. We are pleased to present 'Langue Lost, Language Found: Poetic Interventions', a series of live poetry readings curated by Allison Grimaldi Donahue (@allisonuccia ). The first event will take place on May 22, bringing together poets connected to the city of Rome: T.J. Dedeaux-Norris, Diaty Diallo, Marco Giovenale, Jahan Khajavi, Viola Lo Moro, and Samuele Maffei. In dialogue with the ongoing exhibition 'Soglia / Common Acts' by Francis Offman (@francisoffman ), the performance unfolds across the foundation’s spaces, inviting the audience to move freely between voices and languages in an open, immersive format. The series proposes an ongoing space for exchange between artistic practices and writing through performances, readings, and workshops. Over the summer, the program will continue with two further appointments on June 25 and July 9, exploring the collective dimensions of poetry and its presence in everyday life. We are glad to announce the support of Silvia Fiorucci and Società delle Api for the Italian Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia (@labiennale ), promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture (@creativita_contemporanea @mic_italia ). The Italian Pavilion is curated by Cecilia Canziani (@ccanziani ) and it features a solo exhibition of Chiara Camoni (@chiara.camoni ). Her practice explores collective making, memory, and the relationship between human and non-human forms, weaving together artisanal processes, organic materials, and shared narratives. Grounded in the idea of hospitality and conviviality that runs through Silvia Fiorucci’s vision and the relational dimension of the Società delle Api, the exhibition ‘Soglia / Common Acts’ rejects any separation between art and design. Works and objects coexist on the same level, outlining an environment in which living and looking coincide. The exhibition ‘Soglia / Common Acts’ is opening today at Via Gregoriana 40, Rome. The title ‘Soglia / Common Acts’ introduces a dual trajectory: on one hand, the “threshold” as a space of physical and perceptual transition; on the other, “common acts” as a set of ordinary, shared gestures—taking off one’s shoes, walking, pausing, sitting—that are never neutral, but instead define the relationship between body, space, and artwork. Società delle Api hosts Chiara Camoni (@chiara.camoni ) and Il Centro di Sperimentazione - her group of collaborators - at Palazzo Lezze Michiel, its Venetian venue, for the first phase of Con te con tutto (@contecontutto ), Camoni’s solo exhibition for the Italian Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia (@labiennale ), promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture (@creativita_contemporanea @mic_italia ), curated by Cecilia Canziani (@ccanziani ). As preparations continue, we begin to share the early stages of the project. Chiara Camoni (1974, Piacenza) lives and works in a small village in the Apuan Alps. Her practice spans drawing, plant-based printing, video, and above all sculpture, with a particular focus on ceramics. Her works often emerge through collaborations with informal, spontaneous groups, as well as through more structured seminars and workshops. In recent years, Il Centro di Sperimentazione has developed alongside her as a shared authorship practice. Ph. The artist Francis Offman (@francisoffman ) presents the upcoming collective exhibition Soglia / Common Acts, opening on April 22nd at Via Gregoriana 40 in Rome. The show brings together pieces from Silvia Fiorucci’s Collection alongside works by Offman. A long-time collaborator of Società delle Api, Francis Offman previously held a solo exhibition in 2024, NOTES FROM THE HEART, curated by Lewis Dalton Gilbert (@lewisdaltongilbert ) at Le Quai in Monaco, the organization’s previous venue. His work has also been collected for years by Silvia Fiorucci. Born in Butare, Rwanda, in 1987, Francis Offman lives and works in Bologna. His works are unstretched canvases with irregular edges, where areas of flat, uniform color meet fragments of found paper—bread wrappers, shoeboxes—that enter the composition like remnants or wounds. Only occasionally do references to the real emerge: a dry tree, a mountain, a portion of water or sky. These are fragile compositions that evoke a distant memory—Africa, Rwanda, an identity that cannot be fully reassembled—and a material practice that over the years has expanded into textiles and environmental installation, incorporating coffee grounds, Bolognese plaster, ink, lavender, and fiberglass mesh. He is represented by P420 (@p420gallery ) in Bologna, Herald St (@herald_st ) in London, and Deborah Schamoni (@deborahschamoni ) in Munich.
