Introducing Janiyah Selima White 💖 Born September 9th and weighing 7lbs 8.8 ounces, my wife birth her naturally after 36 hours of labor in a few pushes, unmedicated. This was an experience I will never forget as it showed me the power of a WOMBman. To watch my daughter be born was AMAZING and something we didnt get to experience with our first daughter as my wife had to have an emergency C-section due to a midwife who wouldn't listen to us and decided to tell me to "Shut Up or Im gonna call the cops on you" and proceeded to do so while my wife was 9 cm dilated and my daughter heart rate was dropping. Honorable mention to the NICU team that made sure baby girl was healthy. This delivery felt like a redemption from the trauma we experienced with our first. That time, I produced a three day event in the middle of a heatwave in Manhattan while 7 months pregnant🤰🏾. Late post! Stretched my event producer chops with the @trillmulticultural team back in June for an epic experience involving lights, cameras, LED rooms, a no. 1 draft pick and lots of delicious food. If I had to say one good thing about NYC, it has to be the plethora of delicious dining spots. During this trip, I had pizza at the world famous Joe's Pizza (@joespizzanyc ) Enjoyed authentic Italian at Tony's (@tonysitalian ) Got my life at the Main Noodle House. Inhaled authentic Mexican at Dos Tacos no. 1 Devoured decadent desserts at Carlo's Bakery (@carlosbakery ). The cookie butter cheesecake and Oreo cheesecake were delicious! Got authentic Jewish bagels at Russ & Daughters (@russanddaughters ) while checking in with my NY fam. Honorable mention to @step_sole_ for massaging my pregnant feet at the end of each event day.
