I spied this vintage 1940s Sukajan smoking jacket with tiger embroidery on one of my US working trips and knew immediately I needed it in my stage wardrobe. In total, it’s taken around a year to restore, tailor and embellish between contracts (special thank you to my girl, @newman_georgia_ for delivering thousands upon thousands of premium glass rhinestones to me in the middle of the ocean somewhere). What a joy to stomp across some London stages again after a year away. Conjured a stamina I had thought I had lost and spent a weekend entertaining audiences in salacious venues, luxury hotels and decadent fetish clubs. Til next time, babas.
