🧪Phase 2 by C.Scott drops on all streaming services and limited edition vinyl April 7th!
Packed with rich textures and soundscapes sourced exclusively from sampling vinyl records, this new full length release is an imaginative dreamscape of beats marked by surreal absurdity and grounded self-reflection in equal measure.
Those who have been following C.Scott throughout the years will appreciate the broadened scope and clear advancement in production technique represented by this release.
Those just getting hip to C.Scott are in luck, as this project represents his best work yet and could sit comfortably alongside any veteran beat maker’s catalog.
The whimsically abstract artwork handcrafted by Pittsburgh-based artist Steph Neary is the perfect representation of the album and looks stunning adorning the cover of the limited edition vinyl release.
Pre-save and vinyl pre-order links in bio!

wild & wonderful weekend in NYC for @outsiderartfair and an art museum gauntlet. weekend ended with a surprise 9hr train ride back to Pittsburgh & David Byrne sharing a bench with me. xoxx
my coworkers are the coolest people in the world. drawn by the ever talented, Sean Regis Traynor.
a few weeks ago I was wearing a black vest with a white button up & Sean told me I look like Shari Lewis- then he made it a reality.
puppets forever.
When I write “myths” in my artwork it is always referring to the time @megalons thought @andre_costello wrote the song “NSA” about me having glaucoma.
I don’t have glaucoma but an eye doctor thought I coulda many years ago. She turned to me while André was playing live and said: “I can’t believe he wrote this song about you.” And I’ll never let her live it down.
A lil mythology of me. xox

“We came instead to the River Styx, Ohio...
...We hope for magic; mystery endures.
We look for freedom, but the measure’s set.
There was a graveyard, but we saw no people.”
-Mary Oliver, River Styx, Ohio
I grew up in a small town next to River Styx, Ohio- marveled at this very graveyard & always hoped to see a ghost on the way to visits with my grandparents. Next to the graveyard was a small farm with a silo filled with corn, so much corn I thought it must be all the corn in the world.
I think that’s what small towns do to people, they make the world feel complete & in doing so other peoples lives and struggles shrink // disappear.
