When we opened Snap back in 2010 we honestly never dreamed of winning awards - especially 2 studio of the year awards 13 years apart! 🤯
It is wonderful to receive this recognition for Snap - our work and passion.

Take an inside look at the unique space, features and philosophy behind our North London Recording Studio.
Filmed across a week in July 2022, this short film talks you through the equipment, space and unique features of our studio.
In 2010 at a time when most independent studios were closing down, we set out with the ambition of building a studio which offered the best classic gear, a strong creative vibe and old school values - all at an accessible and affordable price.
In the 12 years since opening, we are proud to have won various awards including Audio Pro International's 'Best New Studio' and the MPG Award for 'Studio Of The Year' alongside countless number one selling records.
Our services have expanded to offer multi-room bespoke setups for writing and tracking sessions in addition to Commercial, Film and Location Hire, whilst still maintaining our commitment to supporting self funded and independent projects.

We have been deep in album season for the past few weeks, but today we come up for air and it’s keys day 🎹
Sparkle top Rhodes 73 (the rare sparkle top finish was only around for a short window - during Fender’s sweet spot for 73 production), Wurlitzer fresh out of service and absolutely singing, and our favourite - the Solina String Ensemble for that unmistakable 70s vibe.

Little shot of our beloved Bluey’s this morning. Warming everyone up with their tubes.
Our legendary Blue One and Blue Two—handmade French tube limiters from the 1960s.
Blue One is an electro-optical LA2A-style limiter, while Blue Two is a vari-mu unit inspired by the UA-176.
Both were crafted by Philippe Doiteau, a self-taught engineer who also played guitar for French yéyé artist Sheila and ran a Paris studio in the 60s and 70s. He even built a tube console of his own.
Blue One is a serious favourite—perfect for bass and vocals. Paired with a C12, it’s pure bliss.
