I rarely make boards anymore…
I’ve got a team of ladies who really handle all aspects of the kitchen now, including making charcuterie boards. But every once in a while I get to do one.
Recently I applied for a business grant. It asked me to tell my story. I never really wrote it down before but when I hit send on the grant I felt proud. Proud of where I started… in a tiny commercial kitchen inside a brewery… I used to knock out board after board in that tiny space. Mostly by myself and on busy weekends my friend @cjsmommaace would come help. I always think of those days when I find myself alone in the kitchen now making a board.
We just celebrated two years in our storefront but Snacks is actually 5 years old. I had no idea in those early days what Snacks would become. And I’m just so thankful for the journey so far. 🩷
And also… I’ve still got it, right? 💁🏼♀️
