Rick forever 💛 I’ve been wanting a dog for a very long time but have held off for many reasons, but when Rick was brought to my attention I couldn’t ignore it. He was meant for me and I was meant for him. Adopting this sweet angel was the best decision of my life. Training boot camp is in full effect. He chewed up his bed, we’re working on recall with distractions, but only a week into his new home after a year of chaos and shelter life, he’s quickly becoming the goodest of boys 💛 Cheers to our love story. Welcome home, Rick. ✨

The past few weeks I’ve been on the road with work at @rndsearch and @naturalselectionsnow . I called my mom this morning to give her a little update, and taking a moment to reflect made me feel beyond grateful for my team and the snowboard community. The best part of these trips will always be the people. I feel so lucky to genuinely call my teammates friends and to work alongside such incredibly skilled and talented people, both directly and indirectly. These events bring people together from all over the world, and it’s something I look forward to every year. Another thing that’s been especially cool this season is watching the progression on the women’s side of the sport. Thanks to @robinvangyn for helping move the needle with @rndsearch and to the industry for supporting and creating space for the next generation of talent. From @mia_danielle pouring her heart and soul into her new film Wayward (sharing the history of women’s snowboarding) to photographers like @miraecampbell + @erinhogue storytelling through their camera lenses and @allywatson + @saraprevite for capturing it all through her words, @gillianandrewshenko who hits the triple threat of being on screen, a rider herself and a RMT, and don’t even get me started on all the riders who are throwing down, women are here to make a stance. A lot of this couldn’t be done without the office gals like @jessimarko @smokey_frazier @thisismarge_ @lulusalmo @jadynisaacson @theshanndawg @vic_wells @sjamieson19 @nicola.josephine @tiffanygsantini and so many more who advocate for funding, space and support for these women. I couldn’t imagine growing up with all of these people to look up to. History in sport is being made as we speak, and I’m so grateful for the women who continue to push it forward. My cup is full and my heart is singing. Taking the next little bit to slow down, soak it all in, and enjoy being home. Feels good to be back 💛

a seed does not resist the darkness it does not fight to break free it trusts that it will be nourished transformed into something more beautiful than it could’ve ever imagined if it stayed above ground - trust the process ———— practicing more presence lately. living in the moment and trusting that with intention, hard work, softness, lightness, and patience life will fall just the way it’s supposed to, as it always does. little gratitude list: • early morning runs • cold dips • friendship • cold mornings • snow • slowing down • cooking and enjoying good food with company • a warm hug • reading • solo time • night bike rides • alpenglow • the gym and feeling strong • yoga, meditation, breathwork • dogs • live albums ✨💛

Last Sunday, October 5th, we hosted our first Flow State — A Meditative Trail Run in Squamish, BC. The goal and purpose was simple, shift the focus from pace to presence. We created a guided group run where participants could slow down, breathe deeply, and forge a connection with the forest, themselves, and the community. We couldn’t have asked for better conditions — blue skies, sunshine and 20 degrees in October! The day began with introductions, giving everyone a chance to share their personal “why” for running. It was clear many felt running had become too competitive or felt like a chore. This event being a chance to reclaim running as a meditative tool for mental clarity. The group then moved through guided breathwork and meditation led by @megg.shepherd , followed by a dynamic warm up from @snacksagram . We then hit the beautiful Squamish forest trails, running and walking 6km as a group. The run ended with a cool-down stretch, more breathwork, and a lovely sound bath. Everyone then enjoyed TacoFino burritos (fish, chicken, or veggie) as the perfect post run fuel and a chance to connect with everyone that attended! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, to our amazing leaders who brought this vision to life, @megg.shepherd led the meditation, soundbath, breathwork and @snacksagram led the dynamic warmup and cool down as well as guided the run. Thank you for supporting: @arcteryx for giving everyone a running hat and socks. @tacofinolovesyou for providing everyone with a delicious lunch. Huge thank you to @miraecampbell for perfectly capturing the day. 🐌🫂🌀 #naturalfreedom #flowstate
