Spectrum is the spin off of excursion 3000’s previous play, A Love Beyond Circuits. Going a few years back in time when the totalitarian Wack empire was established and the abolishment of love and self expression was implemented, Dr. Zurvan Schmetterling, a young free thinker scientist, refused to abide by the oppression. A musician himself, he designs a series of robotronics to play and perform against the regime’s new order. Spectrum is his dom, lab and center of creation, with wired machines covering every corner. The sound and visual installation will be the stage of an immersive series of performances where Dr. Zurvan hacks national tv to play its robotronics, rioting against emotional numbness and self oppression
Excursion 3000 is a collective of performers, visual artists and musicians born amidst the abandoned grounds of Heilstäte Grabowsee. Orchestrating the immersive experience of every world they establish like a cinematic journey, Excursion 3000’s main focus lies in the sensory awakening of the audience.
