SOUTH MIDLANDS DIVISIONAL AGM 2025 – 23 November 🗓️ All members of the South Midlands Division are invited to our Annual General Meeting. Whether you are a lifter, referee, or volunteer, your input matters. This is your chance to raise issues, share ideas, and help us improve the experience for everyone next year. How to register: Please confirm your attendance by emailing [email protected] or using the link in our bio. Key dates: • 9 November – Deadline for Executive position applications and motion submissions • 19 November – Teams link sent to registered members • 23 November, 10am – AGM Eligibility: You must hold a current British Powerlifting membership under the South Midlands Division to attend and vote. Executive roles: Any member may apply for ANY Executive role. This year, we are particularly seeking candidates for: • Communications Officer (Social Media) • Treasurer If you wish to apply, please send a short bio and explanation of why you are suitable for the role to [email protected]. Full role descriptions are available on request. If no new candidates come forward, current members will continue in their roles unopposed. For questions, message us directly. We are delighted to announce the second annual Oxford Open! The meet will take place at Iffley Road Sports Centre on Sunday, 2nd of November. It is jointly organised by members of Oxford University Powerlifting Club (OUPLC) and South Midlands. Entry Information •⁠ ⁠Opening Date for South Midlands Lifters: Monday, August 4th at midday. •⁠ ⁠Opening Date for Guests from Other Divisions: Monday, August 11th at midday. •⁠ ⁠Entry Fee: £45 per person. •⁠ ⁠Places Available: 60 •⁠ ⁠Entry at: ouplc.square.site/oxford-open-2025 (link in bio) For any enquiries, please reach using the contact form on the above site or via the OUPLC Instagram (@OUPLC ).
