It's our 5th F-Word in April and we're bringing two headliners!
We've got Laura Lopez (Mexico), a trilingual comedian who performs in English, Spanish, and Russian. Some of her comedic career highlights: includes being a finalist in the first Prague's Funniest Comedian Competition, winning a Ukrainian comedy TV show created by President Volodymyr Zelensky, securing the grand prize, and being the only comedian to have performed in the US Embassy in the Czech Republic.
Then we have Carly Blair (US), her material is smart, personal, and fearless-spanning culture clashes, identity, and the absurdities of everyday life, all delivered with biting wit and disarming honesty. A regular on stages across Europe, the UK, and the US, Carly also runs a weekly comedy show in Amsterdam. She's performed in over a dozen countries and was long-listed for the 2023 Funny Women competition.
Bringing some musical comedy is Ceren Tosun, a Turkish comic and one of Luxembourg’s rising stars, chronicling the chaos of singlehood in her thirties, where her relationship status refreshes every 24 to 48 hours. Her comedy dives into expat struggles, working life, and the absurdities of trying to settle down abroad. A former alcoholic who traded bottles for marathons, she brings a dark, cynical edge to the stage that’s as strong as a double espresso.
And Iris Costrop, a.k.a. “Flanders’ funniest IT consultant” (not their words), started performing comedy in April 2022 and has been entertaining audiences ever since. From car crashes to lesbian myths, Iris takes you along on a chaotic and hilarious road trip with plenty of unexpected detours along the way!
Hosting the night is Skye (UK), an international “pose artist” bringing her questionable yoga moves and playful energy to tie the show together!
