This year has been really fun & challenging… hard to fit it all into 20 slides. Music is such a big part of my life… nowadays I’m usually looking for ways to sneak away from it lmao. Clearing out my head I find tends to make for the best work… Friends & family help. working out too. & my cats. Done a fair bit of traveling this year as well… that’s been fun.
On the work side of things, music has never been doing better. Lofis going alright, im helping other ppl with their projects & starting new ones. The big one this year has been @ctrl_brn … a new electronic duo started with one of my best friends @reece_343 . We’ve poured a lot into it since the summer. It’s been rlly fun having a reason to leave the studio. Huge thanks to @mezmax for helping us meet new ppl & grow the project. Also as always need to thank anyone that listens or supports my music in any way, wouldn’t be here without it 🩵
I think I spent a long time not being honest with myself and what I want out of life. Feeling better these days about putting up boundaries… I like being alone a lot of the time… it helps me do what I want, when I want without it (hopefully) affecting others… what im not rlly into is networking or making content & I dont like to think about money a ton. I just like makin da music… & I try my best to keep it that way. usually my main priority is just enjoying the day that’s in front of me & making memories w the ppl I care about.
been hard to think about a future for a while when I’ve never had security in my career path. But I’ve been finding myself pretty fulfilled lately in this little life I’m building!
Im a human being and a musician. Not a robot or an entrepreneur…. Maybe I’ll post more next year :) cheers x
Ive got an album im releasing independently Jan 31st, “refresh” and it’s a bit different than usual… Been sitting on these beats for a while and figure they shouldnt just stay on my hard drive.
10 tracks, only a lil over 16 mins long… it’s messy, loud and definitely not perfect. Not sure if I’d even call it Lofi. My albums have always been a bit different and I figured why not take it a step farther. Not rlly going for streams here but I had a lot of fun making it & hope someone else enjoys listening. I feel it’s kinda just me making beats without boundaries and of course that makes me feel a little vulnerable. But i think it’s important as well for me to release stuff that doesn’t always feel cookie cutter.
Thanks to my friends @arbeemonkey@nessen.wav & @helloagainprod for helping me bring this project to life. Sorry if it’s been sitting for a while 😅

Hi,
This year has come with many ups & downs. As I write this now, I’m currently digging myself out of a “down” time… “Lofi” is very different from when I first got into it… & that’s natural, all things must evolve. But it makes me reflect on what it means for me to be an artist.
For the longest time I’ve been chasing a lifestyle. I would say it was after high school, but really … it feels like all my life. I’ve always had a longing to be a musician & producer… to be respected, identify & be friends with other people who are just … doing it. I’ve found that 10x in this community of silly little beats. Some days are easier than others. But this year has never made me feel so validated in that regard, and I’m blessed to be able to work with so many cool people. If this was to all go away tomorrow, I’d be most grateful for all the friendships I’ve made along the way 💙
If you’re someone in my life who supports me, talks to me, works w me, listens to my music, even just reading this post… I just wanna send my love. It’s the people around me that keep me inspired & for that I can’t thank y’all enough.
I’m looking forward to releasing not just Lofi but all kinds of music next year & to challenge myself to work on new styles…. Putting the work in & not letting fear stop me from being the best version of myself. …
