The intersection of menstrual health and gender-based violence (GBV) is a critical yet often overlooked issue. Stigma and discrimination surrounding menstruation can reinforce systemic inequalities, limit access to basic rights, and contribute to violence against women and girls.
Menstrual health is a human rights issue that must be addressed in the fight against gender-based violence. By dismantling stigma, providing access to menstrual products, and promoting education, we empower women and girls to live with dignity, free from violence and discrimination.
