Recognising coercive control is one small step in the fight to HALT domestic and family violence.
We will be sharing more about identifying the red flags in your life or in people you know, including how to safely approach someone who is showing signs of controlling behaviours, no matter how small.

Saturday May 23, we come together to honour the beautiful lives of Hannah, Aaliyah, Laianah and Trey.
Hannah proudly competed at the Torian Pro at the end of 2019, just months before that heartbreaking day that changed so many lives forever. To see the Torian Pro community dedicate this special day in memory of Hannah and the children means more to us than words can express.
We are incredibly grateful to the entire Torian Pro team for their ongoing support, compassion and commitment to raising awareness and standing with us.
If you’re attending on Saturday, please come and say hello to our Small Steps 4 Hannah team and check out the amazing merchandise we’ll have available throughout the day. Every conversation, every show of support and every purchase helps us continue our mission to end domestic and family violence.
Together, we remember. Together, we raise awareness. Together, we create change. đź’—

250 young men, one important conversation.
This week, some of our lads attended Flip the Script: Real Mates, Real Talk - A powerful day built around honest conversations, respect, leadership and what it means to look out for the people around you. The boys heard powerful stories from men willing to speak honestly about violence, accountability and the role men play in changing culture for the better.
At MOB, we believe these conversations are part of building better men. Young men who can lead with respect, support their mates and have the courage to speak up when something isn’t right.
A big thank you to @beyonddv@smallsteps4hannah and everyone involved in creating a space where young men could listen, reflect and grow together.
Today, on National Domestic and Family Violence Awareness Day, we pause to remember and honour the lives lost to domestic and family violence.
Tonight, we invite you to light a candle in their memory — a small act of reflection, solidarity, and hope for a future free from violence. 🕯️

Thank you to my beautiful friend Amanda Dalton the CEO OF @proteaplaceinc for introducing me to Hannah Clarke’s Mum and Dad and Aaliyah, Laianah, and Trey’s beautiful Grandparents Sue and Lloyd Clarke who founded @smallsteps4hannah and fought for historical legislative change recognising Coercive Control as a criminal offence here in Queensland / HANNAH’S LAW 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 The gratitude I have is immeasurable to Sue and Lloyd. Hannah, Aaliyah, Laianah, and Trey will never be forgotten, countless lives have and will be saved and their lasting legacy is changing the world and making it a safer place. We all love and adore you all. From the bottom of my heart thank you. Key Aspects of Hannah’s Law (Queensland):

On Saturday we paint the Pro pink in support of @smallsteps4hannah 🦋
We encourage all athletes and spectators to wear a touch of pink as we come together to raise awareness and show our support for an incredible cause.
The SS4H crew will also be in Vendor Village with some awesome pink merch, so make sure you stop by, say hello and show your support.
A small gesture. A powerful message.
Let’s paint the Pro pink. 💗
Statement from Mark Woolley, Chair – Small Steps 4 Hannah Foundation. The fight against coercive control and domestic and family violence is ongoing, and the Small Steps 4 Hannah Foundation continues to lobby for law reform and to fund meaningful support for families in need.
Our wonderful founders, Sue and Lloyd Clarke, have announced their intention to reduce their workload in an effort to ease the personal toll this journey has taken on them. However, Sue and Lloyd are tireless champions for the cause and they are going to remain closely involved as Directors of the Foundation they started in memory of Hannah and the children. The Foundation remains financially strong, with one of the lowest overhead costs of any Australian charity, and the Directors remain committed to delivering the Clarkes’ vision for an end to coercive control and domestic violence. We look forward to the day when an organisation such as ours is no longer needed. But sadly it is, and we will continue the fight. 💞
Happy 13th birthday, beautiful girl. đź’ś
Today you should be celebrating, laughing, and making memories with everyone who loves you.
Instead, we hold onto the memories you gave us and wish for just one more moment.
You were taken far too soon, but the love you left behind will never fade. You are missed more than words can ever express—every single day.
Heaven gained the brightest soul, but our hearts will always feel your absence.
Forever loved. Forever missed Aaliyah. 🕊️💕
