As the world can now see, no amount of money or global protest has stopped Israel from starving Gaza, annexing the West Bank, fueling a manmade famine and committing genocide in Gaza, Palestine. The nations are allowing these crimes against humanity to unfold in real time on our screen, daily for nearly two years. This has sparked global outrage and an awakening among humanitarians. Even though humanity has made clear that they stand with Palestine, humanity still fails to stop the ruling class from committing the unspeakable, including the starvation of defenseless people, children and babies included. Nonetheless, humanity remains strong, resilient, and loud. Love remains. The demand for liberation remains. Humanity, in this regard, should never be underestimated. When humanitarians unite, the people can make remarkable progress in dismantling the decades-long, systematic dehumanization of Palestinians in our local communities. Humanity can spread awareness by amplifying the voices and stories of those oppressed. Humanity can unite our local community in love by grieving with the oppressed. Humanity has the power to transcend the division caused by nationalism. We become one people. This is what this event aims to do: unite our Berlin community in humanity. At the heart of humanity is empathy, solidarity, and mindfulness. These characteristics are seen in the Berlin art scene and in the millions protesting for a free Palestine around the world. With these words, we invite our Berlin neighbors to come to this fundraiser for the educational camp Al-Jawad for orphaned children in North Gaza (
@jawadcamp2 ). The event starts at 5pm at Neulich Biergarten (
@neulich.bier ) on Tempelhofer Feld. THE HIDDEN KEYS perform at 8:30pm, but other bands will perform before us. We look forward to connecting with the good hearts wanting to help liberate and support the oppressed. We must act to persevere our humanity in Berlin and abroad ❤️ Free Palestine 🇵🇸
Peace, love, and more humanity,
THE HIDDEN KEYS
