@egemankaya shares a selection of his recent listening, hazy ambient, low-lit electronics and soft-focus pop while he draws on camera his way through a page of familiar, half-formed faces. Call it happy accidents.

This marks Ege’s first broadcast on the station and the launch of his new episode, Yaftalık Keşif. The full drawing session is on YouTube, or tune in on SoundCloud —via links in bio.
Recently, we started working with @theguillotines_official on their slow-burning, mellow-drifting debut single release, “Pool Painted Black” for which we created the digital sleeve along with the streaming visuals including this stop-motion.
Pool Painted Black started as a title that already contains an image. For that the starting points were modest and very specific: a torn magazine page @carumcarvis had on her (who knows since when), a black-and-white video of water (the kind you film without knowing why). From there, it was a matter of relation, translation, iteration: Ripples into frames, light into halftone, then we let it loop. (see images 1–5)
The single is out via @tamarrecords , and it’s up on all platforms. This Canvas version lives on Spotify, so go find it there, let it speak in repeats: relation and relation after all.
It has been a couple of days since our song “pool painted black” came out and we are happy about the feedback we received so far.
Whether you listened on repeat or once or simply you gave it a go but didn’t vibe with it, we are grateful for every pair of ears that stopped by.
If you have not yet, listen to the song with the link in Bio.
New songs are in making 🖤

A lovely throwback to the ‘Stage Left’, the public goodbye of Roos Gortzak to Vleeshal. No doubt, I poured a full heart into this bit, knowing it marked an end. And still clinging to these little moments that spoke volumes.
Roos set the stage one last time with Zahar Bondar, Jae Pil Eun, Eglė Budvytytė, Rory Pilgrim, and Robyn Haddon — a curtain call that hit just right.

Back on the good ship Zane’s BBQ Bounce, round two.
“Sometimes we just have our hearts broken and it feels like, my God, the world’s ending.” Our hot-dog enthusiast and trusted selector Zane pulled together a combination of songs for the end of the world. In his words, perhaps to drown out the noise of all the bullshit, or so you could have some peace of mind. He delivers big hugs in your ears.

Sometimes as our worlds are ending we find support in the loving hands of friends and family. With Nihans (@cucumberwhale ) effort and a little help with friends $750 were raised for the PCRF by selling beautiful felt doves, and watermelons for the children of Gaza.
