Our next mentor for Maketime Climate Action is Kenah.
Kenah is the co-founder of SMALL RAVE, a Karangahape Rd based creative events studio, focused on reducing barriers to participation in arts and music.
Their work brings communities together through playful projects, including street activations, dance parties, installations, and workshops.
“I’m excited to make my debut as a Maketime Mentor to show how ideas can actually become a real thing! Breaking down how projects are built, resourced, and brought to life in ways that genuinely connect with communities.” - Kenah
Maketime is a space for young people to bring their ideas to life. Spend the day with others shaping ideas and turning them into something real, with funding on the table and a say in where it goes.
And it doesn’t end there — after the workshop, a mentor will stick alongside your group to help bring your idea to life.
Maketime Climate Action is happening Saturday 2 May at Waiōrea Community Recycling Centre.
📍 Waiōrea Community Recycling Centre, Western Springs 🗓 Saturday 2 May ⏰ 9:30am – 6:30pm (with a solid break in the middle) 🍽 Lunch + snacks included 🎟️ FREE
