Hear from the saxophonist behind David Bowie’s *Blackstar* album, then experience him live inside the CULTVR dome.
On 23rd May, Slowly Rolling Camera are joined by internationally acclaimed saxophonist Donny McCaslin @donnymccaslinmusic for a special seated performance following an in-depth Q&A with Edition Records founder Dave Stapleton.
Expect conversation, cinematic visuals by 4Pi Productions, and a live set blending jazz, rock, electronics and improvisation.
A little CULTVR history moment too, Slowly Rolling Camera were actually the first music performance we ever hosted back in 2019, before the dome even had its permanent Cardiff home.
Since then, 4Pi Productions and the band have continued collaborating on immersive visual experiences alongside each album release.
Always a pleasure to welcome them back into the dome.

On Friday 28th November, we’ll be sharing a new recording of Nature’s Ratio recorded with Nicolas Kummert, under a new Slowly Rolling Camera release series called ViewFinder.
Each ViewFinder release offers a distinct viewpoint – a way of viewing the world and our inspiration through a creative lens.
The artwork for each release - singles, EPs and Albums - will be a photo viewing through a vintage 1960s medium-format camera.
