Sunday morning spin: Sunday Mornin’ - Grant Green.
Hard to think of a more fitting record for a slow, easy start to the day. Grant Green’s playing here is just effortless… laid-back, soulful, and right in the pocket from start to finish.
Originally released on Blue Note in 1961, this session features Kenny Drew, Ben Tucker, and Ben Dixon, one of those lineups that just locks in and never lets go.
This copy is a limited edition repress from Slow Down Sounds, and the colored vinyl on this one is something else… almost too nice to put back on the shelf (and it sounds great).
Hope everyone’s easing into their Sunday the right way! ☕️🎶✌🏻

What should I play next? Chill vibes, or something upbeat?
