I graduated Sunday, and I’m de-installing tomorrow, so feels like a good time to share photos from my thesis project, My Sweaters Keep My Cold Body Warm ♥️
grad school was a trip— what a gift. I am a completely different person from these last two years and while most of that time the growth was uncomfortable and painful it was also so unbelievably worth it. I’m proud to be a crybaby!!
So what now?!?! it’s time to do everything I’ve been dying to do for the last year! Plus, I’m slinging yarn @fiberrhythm and teaching @wildcraftstudio this summer and fall. Come say hi, learn something new, or touch yarn! 👋

going to talk about the metaphysical relationship between a weaver and the loom and try to not cry about it at my thesis talk this wednesday 2-3pm at PNCA mediateque.
if this sounds interesting to you then perhaps see you there?

this is why I have been terrible at texting back for the last year. sorry about that!!! I’ve completed one big (BIG) portion of my masters as of today ⭐️
come celebrate with me and my cohort tonight! building 5 in NW Portland! 5-8pm!
@heygracehartley is intertwined in so much of not only my thesis project and also my entire graduate school experience— she rolled the coils for this ceramic basket for my thesis project and housed a very excited baby ceramic maker in her studio a handful of times this semester and I’m so thankful for her and in love with this piece!!! although I have no idea what it looks like currently!!! ceramics are wild and make me feel like a kid again ⭐️
