🌀Un'ora in cui una selezione di contenuti con cui instagram ci bombarda quotidianamente sono rimontati e forzati a conversare all'interno di un viaggio sonoro che cerca di restituire all'artista la capacità di governare l'algoritmo riscattando il potere sulla propria vita.
🙉Questo post segna anche l'inizio di un percorso per staccarmi da questa piattaforma che per ora sto cercando di tenere disinstallata dal telefono e che userò unicamente per rilanciare le puntate e il caricamento delle registrazioni finché non trovo un alternativa valida.

PS. L'episodio di gennaio non é stato pubblicato perché realizzarlo mi sarebbe costato una corsa contro il tempo, snaturando l'approccio e la cura che sto provando a mettere nella creazione di questo spazio radiofonico.
Nella musica ho trovato uno dei miei primi spazi di politicizzazione e un mezzo di espressione personale che mi ha portato tanto a risuonare che a dissonare in percorsi collettivi. Nel 2025 ho provato a ritrovare questo significato nella maniera in cui ricerco e mixo musica, cercando di fronteggiare le pressioni verso un consumo sonoro bulimico e una produzione di contenuti che sentivo gradualmente scivolare in un esercizio vuoto di creatività che - pur perdendo qualsiasi forma di autenticità - veniva a volte frainteso per una rappresentazione del sè.
@rough.radio mi ha dato la possibilità e lo spazio per prendermi un impegno fisso con me stesso, un impegno ad esplorarmi attraverso la musica. Così è nato Dubbing The Everyday, un programma in cui ho cercato di recuperare il significato che mi ha fatto appassionare al djing. Ispirandomi al montaggio video dell'iconico programma televisivo Blob, ho deciso di sperimentare inserendo nei set vari spunti sonori tratti dal mio quotidiano: stralci di interviste e/o film; registrazioni di campo del mio diario sonoro; foley e altri.
Col tempo l'idea ha raccolto l'entusiasmo di altr3 artist3 che hanno colto la sfida e hanno prodotto degli episodi stupendi sposando in pieno la filosofia che avevo in mente.
Qui trovate un breve recap video con cui voglio celebrare la fine della prima stagione del programma, rilanciando la successiva che sarà inaugurata da un live di @the_evorak , grande amico senza cui non scoprirei tantissima musica stupenda senza perdere occasione di confrontarcisi, entusiasmarsi, ballarla o contemplarla.

🐬The next episode of Dubbing the Everyday on @rough.radio features “Dolphin Dance,” a live set by @e.ll.ll.e , the electronic music project of multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Leonardo Cini.
🐳The performance creates a dialogue between downtempo modular synth improvisations and vividly narrated field recordings from "Le voci dei mammiferi marini" (The Voices of Marine Mammals), a cassette released in the 1980s by the Italian music therapy and audio-documentary label Ludi Sound.
From dolphin clicks to humpback whale songs, these fascinating animal voices merge with the modular synth, adding a further mysterious and playful layer to the narration.
Dolphin Dance is, above all, an experiment in playful exchange between animal sound and electronic music. It is also a way of bringing these beautiful, little-known recordings to a wider audience: the tapes are not available online and seem to have largely slipped into obscurity.

Indispensa è un programma mensile ospitato su Radio Onda Rossa registrato live in occasione di un omonimo evento che si tiene come appuntamento fisso nella Sala da The del Forte Prenestino di Roma.
Il programma vuole essere un contenitore di musica indipendente da godere collettivamente, un luogo fisico e nell’etere dove producers, performers e djs possano trovare uno spazio di espressione e condivisione sottratto alla logica dell’industria musicale. Ma anche di riflessione sulla propria musica, sui contesti di fruizione che frequentano e sulla società in cui vivono. Gli ingredienti che tiene in serbo sono chiacchiere, ascolto collettivo, live e djset. La partecipazione attiva di tutt* l* partecipant* è caldamente consigliata!
Questo set è stato registrato in occasione del primo episodio-appuntamento il 22 marzo 2026 in cui è stato presentato il progetto musicale di Equohm.

It will feature @_chasse_croise (Paris, FR), a member of the @ondorphine radio collective and a resident at @stationstation_radio . The arist uses mixes, documentaries or narrated playlists to explore, connect and share different aesthetics, inviting the listeners to slow down, clearing or filling their minds with questions.
The episode crafted for the show invites on a very special and intimate trip through the artist's experience of her PMS (pre-menstrual syndrome), narrating the way she learns how to live with the different parts of her that come up during the two halves of her menstrual cycle. Through the interplay of voice notes recorded over the past few months and musical tracks that try to capture the mood of the moment, the episode translates into sound the alternation between moments of struggle and hope. The result is a sound journey unfolding through a self-dialogue and reflection marked by swings between feelings of emotional lability and guilt, as well as self-indulgence and recovering of energy and enthusiasm related to the "coming back" of a sense of self or the acceptance of the artist's way of being.
I'm very glad to host this experiment for the way @_chasse_croise has perfectly grasped the concept of the show sharing her personal world and engaging with dedication and enthusiasm ❤️ A must listen.

Featuring a curated selection of global tracks, the journey unfolds through personal edits, where original arrangements and structures are dismantled and reassembled. ☎️ Dubbing the Everyday comes back on @rough.radio for a second season exploring the frontiers of djing and live performance through the mix of music with sound cues from the artists' daily life.
📢In the first episode @the_evorak will attempt to find use to some fragmented pieces of reality that the Instagram algorithm decides to feed him everyday using them in his modular liveset. An attempt to restore some agency to himself. You'll find a collection of the most stimulating material that the artist's phone has shown into his eyes (and his ears) during this year stichted up together and forced to converse with an improvised jam he recorded at the beginning of this month.

🌀Iridiscent Intimate Waters is a sound illustration curated by @anaisldc inspired by the places her mind has travelled to during the autumn and by her recent projects for theathre and performance. "Un rendez-vous" with shimmering textures and enchanting almost whispered voices, melancholic melodies, and penetrating rhythms, with touches of experimentation and excerpts from recordings of a personal text. A patchwork of downtempo, drone, dub, spoken word, ambient, and dreamlike vocals that flirt and converse with one another.
