A resonant bass drum beating in the distance. You're walking purposefully towards the source of the noise. Over spongy grass and shallow bog you climb a vaguely utopic mound to find an eccentric duo, one hunched over a drum machine and small pieces of circuitry with buttons and dials, the other strumming a stratocastor while simultaneously striking a cowbell on the off beat.
Slitopia is an electronic dance act culminating in analogue tones, live instrumentation nd drum machine samples. On the back of a US tour Sophie Sutherland and Evelyn Fletcher Jenkins return to their homeland ready to electrify the underground.
