Throwback to the beautiful spring day we had last April 12th when I had the honor of my south asian girl dreams to shoot the global @papadontpreachbyshubhika Summer Siren campaign with the best. Opening that website and seeing myself was beyond my wildest dreams. Getting hit with retailer ads of me from companies around the globe continues to be a constant shock. I'll never forget Shubhika's morning chai and plain bread while she sewed me into a blouse early in the am, @dharaaab stories from her tour, @shubhikasharma buying me a hotdog from a classic NYC hotdog cart, @ditigoradia and I walking in couture PPDP heels all over central park while trying to not let our garments touch the ground, and telling park visitors Shubhika is a famous designer. I played it off cool, but I straight up was like omg me???? Before I knew it, I was heading from a booking to a casting and meeting the Covergirl team for the first time. They've quickly become a crew I feel incredibly at home with, and I'm so grateful to be working with a childhood dream client. A huge shoutout to True for believing in me.
