Happy 2025 🌟 The most valuable lesson I learned in 2024 is “Don’t ever look at your pivots as setbacks. The seeds we plant will always give us fruits even if some take longer to bloom.“ For those who don’t know I took classes at FIT during my time in the city. Thankfully that skill allowed me to create some indo western clothes for my besties wedding @tia_bhatia . I mean we knew @geena_singh was going to be there so I had to TRY to bring it… How did we do?
Moral of the story is you never know when the things you learn will come back to help you in the future so just know you are exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Imagine having 24 hours to make an outfit for the premiere of your dreams but not knowing 100% if you’ll go or not until the day of? Welll that was the situation I was in. And somehow we made it work with some faith, love, and a lot of effort on @versharma ’s part I was able to go to this beautiful premiere. So I had to show up for the brown community, for the theater community, and the artists out there. Did I deliver y’all?
Thanks to Versha for taking me as her date to this once in a lifetime premiere! To pay homage to our culture and the love we have for this play I created this custom look for the red carpet. And the best moments for me really were watching swarms of little kids enamored by the idea of painting on fabrics and creating something so unique and fun. I wish I had someone who told me that art could be a career at their age so hopefully those moments help inspire them to follow their hearts. Hoping my love inspires each and every person that sees it to just GO FOR IT! I never thought I’d be able to do something like this in under 24 hours… until I tried. And here we are.. we’re all surprised. Especially me.
