We move through life believing we have time
as if it’s something we can hold, something that will wait for us.
But it slips through our fingers, quiet as breath, gone in the space between blinks.
And suddenly, we are older.Maybe softer. Maybe more tired.Maybe a little lost in places we swore we knew.
So let this be the reminder to speak, even when your voice trembles,to say the things that sit heavy on your chest,to choose the risk, the discomfort, the unknown.
Failure will not ruin you,it will teach you how to live.
Love your people out loud, again and again and again.
Because time does not promise us tomorrow.
Find meaning in the ordinary, the quiet mornings, the small laughter, the moments that feel like nothing at all.
They are not nothing. They are the foundation of what we will one day miss with a soft, aching nostalgia.
Time does not wait.
It moves, indifferent, wrapping us in the illusion that we have more of it than we do.
So be here.
Hold onto your light.
And don’t let a darkened world convince you to dim it.

I first photographed Trinity 8 years ago (last photo) and I had the honor of photographing her again in February. It’s crazy how quickly time flies by, how the version of myself 8 years ago, no longer fully exists in this moment. And what’s left is a powerful fragment that never gave up on the dream we had since 2005.
