Took a trip to Bogota to see a long time friend Lombana and we decided to take a trip to the Amazon….so we flew to leticia Colombia, and from there proceeded by boat for long days in northern brazil and eastern peru. it was intense, alive, relentless, and inspiring. I didnt take a chance to make art in bogota but i did for a small school in northern brazil where we stayed for the majority of the amazon part of the trip. happy to have experienced it and its fullness. the best part overall was mother nature ruled all and spared us besides some snake scares and heavy storms. the different boats in different towns all carried a similar sound, the govt boats to manage cartel activity on the river carried a different type of energy for sure.
