2 years and 20kg between these photos and honestly, I couldn’t be happier.

Since my heart attack stepping away from the scene of bodybuilding and focusing of getting fitter healthier and all rounder a better athlete has lit a fire in me that’s been missing ..
The allowance to realise that “ BODYBUILDING ISNT YOUR IDENTITY.
Truth be told no one cares how much you lift or how big you get.
I lived like a “ robot for 10 years. It engulfed me and became me.
Since then stepping away has been a blessing in disguise don’t get me wrong
I’m very much an athlete but a different version a version that isn’t hyper focused on silly things
I eat 5X a day .
I do my steps - I do my cardio I do my weight training but I’m also doing HIT / running I’m also a better person all round more relaxed less stressed and hyper focused on “ when is my next meal or “ I need to hit 10k steps or how many weeks out I am
I’m present with my children if my daughters want to bake I bake … none of this “ I can’t” MORE OF I CAN
I eat whole foods and a stricter plan but also allow more freedom around the children
I remember my daughter asking me “ daddy why can’t you eat with me “
Now I can enjoy a cookie or maybe two when we bake 🤝😂
