Old Growth - My new album is out on streaming as of this morning:
It's been since 2020 that I've released any solo work out into the world. I'm permanently indebted to anyone who's stuck with my music in my absence. I want to give a deeply felt thank you to anyone who connects with my work, and for being my driving force.
This one might be fun to go in blind. But if you'd like context, the majority of these songs were born somewhere between 2019-2022. My favorite work of mine has always been the moodier pieces. As Old Growth came together, I think it's become one of my most personal projects I'd be willing to share. These are instrumental reflections of my internal world, filtered through the sounds of kindred spirits.
This album marks a change in approach from my usual. If you mostly know me for my beats, you might find something completely different here. A good portion of the samples I used come from my childhood. The rest are various sound sources that I've tried to extract my own emotions from. Anything that's left of this album after sequencing is something I hope will take you inwards.

Two years ago at the beginning of the pandemic, @therhetorician100 and I started work on the followup to 'I Think We Killed Bigfoot'. The raps would be headier, the beats darker, and overall the project is leagues ahead of anything else we've done. Then I lost the original files to a computer crash, and we waited hoping that the subject of the music would still hit the same.
2 years later and things aren't too different, and this project is just as relevant as it was when we made it. @therhetorician100 and @slapserif present:
