We said goodbye today to our very good boy, Baxter. Baxter was born in 2007, and joined us as a puppy.
He hated vaccum cleaners, loved hunting squirrels and chipmunks, enjoyed beer, and most of all…loved spending his time sleeping. Especially in the rays of the sun or under a blanket next to @mrsslamda
A legend to us and many of you. Thank you for loving Bax-man and for the kind words you have shared.
He helped me through a very difficult time when my father passed away and I’ll never forget what his unconditional love meant.
Bax, we hope you’re running free and playing with sticks or just enjoying some much deserved rest
Baxter is 16 today! Hard to believe our sleep and MaryLauren-loving puppy is 112 in dog years! We got him as a puppy, he was not much bigger than a smartphone
Baxter is not as physically capable as he once was, he needs help transitioning steps, but he lets us know where he wants to go through his very clear barks

Can’t believe it’s been 13 years. Wish you coulda met our kids. They think you’re great and they really love this picture of you with a bear cub. I should have taken more pictures with you. Thanks for showing me how to replace electric outlets, and that ice cream is a good choice anytime.
