A huge thank you to @butcherbrown for having me on this record. It was a special process - one that let me really stretch out behind the glass and grow as an engineer. It really couldn’t have been with a nicer group of fellas - love this crew. I wish I documented more throughout the process but here’s what I was able to pull together. LA last week.
@mariyaaaaa pulled me out west and did more than I could imagine to make my birthday one of, if not the most special I’ve had. So much good food, good weather, and good music.
Can’t recommend checking out the @vintagesynthmuseum enough (a playground for the ages) and @p.de_jong ’s basement for all of your listening needs. Thankful for another trip around the sun and for all the family and friends in my life.
It’s been a hell of year so far and I’m feeling extremely grateful for everyone I’ve been lucky enough to spend time with recently. Head down, hands on - always. My heart is full. Thx to @_slowmedown for the lovely tintype of my <3 @mariyaaaaa and I & to @dunnenunnenunne for the pic of me obsessing over the chroma console. Bought my own 5 seconds later.
I know Leo is riding shotgun in doggy heaven. We lost a real one this week. Leo was the bestest bud, first mate, and wingman. He loved a siren, especially off a fire engine and was always down for a good adventure, preferably involving water. Give @mariyaaaaa a big hug next time you see her and pour one out for that boy this weekend.
Long live Leo - forever in our hearts.
