Slacker is a UK-based producer and founder of @pseudonymrecords . With releases on @lobstertheremin_ , @erosion_ , @soft__raw , and @markhamroadrec spanning all the way back to 2017, his work explores the deeper, atmospheric corners of the hardcore and jungle continuum.
Taking inspiration from electro, half-time D&B, broken techno, and ambient, and adopting the jungle attitude toward broken drums, loud basses, and glistening pads, Slacker repackages it into his own unique sound that feels both forward-facing and rooted in the past.

we made this very big, very silly acid tune last year when we were feeling indulgent - so happy it found such an awesome home (thanks @ma_sha_music ) :).

Whoopie! Got Me Down by @slacker_is_a_legend is releasing today via @markhamroadrec . This three track ep spins the same vocal chop to create a juggled assortment of hard paced rhythms.
Leading out with the title track Got Me Down, Slacker pounds the subs harder than a Nona making pesto. Fitting somewhere between hard tech and dubstep, Got Me Down is a roller coaster of ups and downs (but mostly ups) that aims to leave dancers rather eager to stay on the floor.

First off: thanks to @_joeunknown for bringing me up to Glasgow to play alongside @doctajeep for @___erosion___ . Thanks to @lewislowe_redstonepress and Joe for the hospitality!! One of my favourite weekends of the year to date. 🏴🥰 fell in love with glasgow.
Secondly: thanks to @luudo____ for booking me alongside Billy nasty at @venuemot was super sick to play in a club that I have been to so much!👌🤔
