Congratulations to Judith Coombe from Starfish Entertainment on receiving Manger of the Year! A well deserved honour. Rock On…. Skydiggers Repost from @starfishentertainment • Congratulations to our own Jude Coombe for being named the 2026 Manager of the Year! We’re so grateful to the CLMA and its members for recognizing what a talented manager - and exceptional human being - Jude is. Jude, thank you for always leading with your beautiful heart and showing us that kindness and strength truly go hand in hand. You’ve turned creative problem-solving into an art form, and you lift all of us up with your wisdom, positivity, and ride or die support. No mountain is too high - and if it is, you’ll just get a tour bus. Our team and our clients know just how lucky we are to work with you.

Forty years of playing music together has a special ring to it, one that Skydiggers’ co-founders Josh Finlayson and Andy Maize are thrilled to celebrate in 2026. To mark the milestone anniversary, the duo revisit old songs and cover some of their favourites, all packaged in a 10-song collection titled “West Montrose”, out June 5th. The band shares a new recording of “Alice Graham,” originally from their iconic 1995 album “Road Radio” as the first single. Listen, Stream, Share - Link in Bio

EMPLOYEE OF THE MYTH (A podcast about Skydiggers) Ep 27: Andy Maize and Aaron Comeau: CAPTAINS OF EVERYTHING From the @skydiggers universe comes a new project. Inspired by their setting on Prince Edward Island and inspired by the world events of the day, Andy Maize and Skydiggers guitarist @aaroncomeau have created a new collection of songs that is both ambitious and contemplative. Songs that rouse the spirit and house moments of melancholy and peace. They are @captainsofeverything . The album is Avast and Belay! Even with its fiery nautical title, Avast and Belay is not so much a project about the sea, but about the infinite possibilities that the canvas of the sea provides. With all songs written together by Maize and Comeau, and with all instruments performed by Comeau, Avast and Belay becomes a document of the rare magic that an environment of true collaboration and trust can create. When these two unique musical voices merge, a new sound is made. Hosted by @janegowan and @joel9.917 Listen at link in @musicbuddypodcast bio, or wherever you get your podcasts. Special Edition Avast and Belay 12” vinyl + 30-page booklet: available on Bandcamp! Avast and Belay is available wherever you enjoy music.  Album artwork by @parts_market #skydiggers #andymaize #aaroncomeau #captainsofeverything #newmusic

Come celebrate 40 Years of Skydiggers at Hugh's Room on June 5, 2026! After playing in separate bands in the early ’80s, Josh and I started hanging out in 1986, listening to music and talking about stripping it all down and going back to basics: one acoustic guitar and two voices, playing and singing traditional folk and old-time country songs. Forty years and a thousand gigs later, with the help of the inspired playing of Jimmy Bowskill and the singing of Jessy Bell Smith, we return to our fountain of youth: the songs that inspired us and that we continue to sing to this day. Artist pre-sale: Tuesday, March 3 @ 10AM EST (Code announced tomorrow!) Public on-sale: Wednesday, March 4 @ 10AM EST Tickets available at skydiggers.com/tour Andy & Josh

It seems remarkable that 38 years ago we made our first recordings as Skydiggers in Hamilton, Ontario at Grant Avenue Studio. Among the songs we recorded for that session was our version of Good King Wenceslas. We had worked up an arrangement which would help define and shape the sound of our young band. Over the following years, as our career evolved, we performed the weekend before Christmas which became a gathering of family, friends and fans, always ending our shows with Good King Wenceslas. A tradition that started at The Horseshoe Tavern and now continues at The Danforth Music Hall. Both the recording and sentiment of this song have endured. There’s a timeless quality to this message that continues to resonate and connect every time we play it. Songs are amazing that way. They belong to no one. They belong to everyone. In the spirit of this message we wanted to share our updated holiday recording of our full album, “Good King” with you. All the money we collect from this recording through @Bandcamp will go to the @dailybreadto . Peace. Josh o/b/o Skydiggers
