The best coaches don’t wait for retention to become a problem. They solve it in the first 15 minutes. A quick Zoom call before training even starts. Not a sales call. Not a check-in. Just a human conversation — and that’s exactly what makes it stick. Online coaching can feel transactional. The coaches who win long-term are the ones who refuse to let it. Build the relationship before you build the program. 🤝 Want the full framework? The Modern Coach’s Playbook is in the link in bio. 📍

7+ years ago I started coaching on Skillest and I had no idea how much it would change my life. Because of online coaching I’ve been able to move across the world and still keep my business running. I can work with players from anywhere, and some of them I’ve coached for over 3 years now. All I really need is WiFi and I’m able to do what I love. It has given my family and me a level of freedom that im really grateful for that. Very thankful for the platform and the players who trust me with their development.

Coaches — this is what modern coaching actually looks like. Caught up with Alex Clapp recently and it was a reminder of how powerful it is when you fully lean into the tools available to you. What started with simply logging in-person lessons has grown into a complete coaching business — structured, scalable and always connected to the student. That’s the shift. 👉 You don’t need to change who you are as a coach.👉 You just need a system that grows with you. Skillest is the only software built to evolve alongside your coaching journey — from booking and delivering in-person lessons, to building subscriptions, communicating daily with students, and creating a thriving international online business. Most coaches think getting started is complicated. It’s not.Log your first lesson. Message your students. Let the platform do the heavy lifting. If you’re serious about building something bigger than one lesson at a time — this is where it starts. #Skillest #ModernCoach #DigitalCoaching #HybridCoaching #GolfCoaching

Comment ‘REPS’ and I’ll send you 3 Free Drills to fix your Backswing!!! One of the easier swing hacks is to make sure you keep club head in front of the hands in the early takeaway. The more inside the hands the club travels, the more the shaft will flatten, increasing the likelihood the club with steepen in the transition. When we keep the club in front of the hands, the shaft works through a more vertical, supported position, making it more likely the club will shallow through the transition. This first move, when properly organized, makes the rest of the swing significantly easier to manage. This goes for short game as well! Send this video to a golfer you know that needs to fix their backswing!!

🚨 This Drill TRANSFORMED My Short Game Contact 🚨 If you struggle with fats and thins around the green… this is probably why 👇 One of the biggest issues we see in the short game is players moving too much pressure and mass onto the back foot 🚫 Especially with excessive lateral movement of the upper body. This gets you “stuck” on the trail side and makes controlling low point incredibly difficult… leading to: ❌ Fat shots ❌ Thin shots ❌ Inconsistent strike ❌ Poor spin control Here’s a simple drill that can change your contact instantly 👇 🪄 SHORT GAME LOW POINT DRILL ▪️ Grab an alignment rod ▪️ Place it in the centre of your body at setup ▪️ For a right-handed golfer, keep your sternum slightly LEFT of the stick ▪️ Avoid moving your chest to the right of the stick in the backswing ▪️ Feel like the sternum stays left during the motion ✅ Helps control low point ✅ Improves strike quality ✅ Creates cleaner contact ✅ Better spin & consistency Most great short game players keep pressure forward and control the bottom of the swing arc 💥 Try this next practice session and let me know how it goes 👊 📲 Online coaching available via Skillest 🏌️‍♂️ In-person coaching at Altus Performance — Dallas, TX ⭐️ 5-star rated with 7000+ lessons delivered worldwide 💬 Share with a golfer who struggles with fats & thins 💾 Save this for your next practice session ❤️ Like & follow for more golf performance tips

Struggling with consistency, slices, hooks or poor strike? 🤔 A lot of golfers simply get too steep or too under plane in the downswing. Sometimes, a small change to the delivery can completely change your ball flight, strike and consistency. 📈 The goal isn’t to copy one perfect swing… it’s to understand YOUR movement patterns and make them A LITTLE better every day. 👊 🎥 Want a FREE online swing review? Just follow me on Skillest I’ll help point you in the right direction. ⛳ #golf #golflessons #golftips #golfaddict #golfswingtips

“You can’t learn from tour pros as an amateur.” Luke Kerr-Dineen @lkd_golf from Golf Digest disagrees — and he’s spent more weeks on Tour than most. Not the swing mechanics. But practice habits, strategy, aiming, setup discipline? That’s universal. And most golfers have never actually applied it. The gap isn’t always where you think it is. 🔗 Full episode in bio.

If you struggle with poor ball striking, chances are you’re not delivering the right loft at impact. Here are 3 drills to fix it 👇 1️⃣ Coat Hanger Drill — feel lead wrist flexion before impact for better shaft lean 2️⃣ Alignment Stick Drill — hold the angle longer through position six, then release 3️⃣ Book Drill — no club needed. If you see the front cover on the way down, you’re flipping Get your dynamic loft right and the rest of your impact conditions will follow. 🎯 Save this for your next range session.
